A music concert to kick-off TKO final festivities
While football remains the main focus of 2014/15 Telkom Knockout (TKO) Final, the organisers have promised a carnival atmosphere for fans when the defending TKO Champions, Platinum Stars plays against SuperSport United on Saturday afternoon, 29 November 2014. Kick-off is at 15h00.
A music concert featuring some of the country’s top musicians including current Idols winner, Vincent Bones, award-winning HHP, PRO, Chomee and top DJ Glen Lewis will kick-off proceedings from 12h00 on Saturday – three hours before Kick-off. Fans are urged people to arrive early at the stadium, gates open at 11h00 .
PSL CEO, Brand de Villiers said: “The League, together with sponsors Telkom has been working hard to ensure that we put together a great show on Saturday. It is important for us to ensure that we deliver a successful event.”
The first 2000 fans through the gate on match day will each receive a Telkom Knockout hat. There are also some fantastic prizes to be won during the halftime competition when lucky fans stand a chance to win DSTV Walkas, DSTV Exploras and a top-of-the-range Smartphone with a Telkom starter pack and airtime voucher.?
Telkom is also giving away Internet Starter Packs that contain 200 megabytes of data for 12 months, which will be loaded with additional data or airtime upon arrival.?
“We have a world-class venue and two fantastic teams, so why not to make the 2014 Telkom Knockout final a festival of football,” says Nakedi Chiloane, Telkom’s sponsorship manager. “All the ingredients are there for a great day out for the family so we would like to encourage all the Moms and Dads to come to Orlando Stadium and be part of the festival atmosphere. We want fans to enjoy the football, but also spend a day out with us.”
