Anderson to meet Nadal in the Grand Slam Final

Kevin Anderson is through to his first Grand Slam final after a four set win over Pablo Carreño Busta at the US Open!

Kevin came from a set down to edge the semi-final 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4, in a match that last just under 3 hours.

In terms of this event – the SA star emulates the feat of countryman, Cliff Drysdale, who made the final of the 1965 US National Championships, as the US Open was then called.

Kevin now meets tournament number one seed, Rafael Nadal, in the final of the 2017 men’s singles.
