Gcaba ready to face his former team
Ayanda Gcaba is confident that the Mighty Buccaneers will claim victory on Saturday night, then they host Free State Stars in Orlando.
The Bucs’ center-back, who was on the books of Stars in 2011, said this morning that it will be business as usual when he comes up against his former teammates.
“Playing against your former team is always nice. I think they are doing okay under a new coach but we have a job to do on Saturday night,” says the Bucs versatile defender.
“I have a few friends that I played with there, but we will both be working on the day so, the expectations their bosses have from them, is the same expectations my bosses have from me and the team.
“We will play to win of course and if we win, then good for us and bad for them; but I am confident we can really give a nice go at this match. We had a long break and that gave us time to prepare for this match.
“We need another good result at home and we are prepared to make sure this happens on Saturday against Stars.”
Bucs and Stars will square up at 20.15 at Orlando Stadium.
