Maluleka on Kaizer Chiefs vs Ajax, his current form, etc.

“We are not taking anything lightly,” says Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka ahead of Sunday’s clash against Cape Town.

“In fact, we will strive to keep our 100 percent record intact.” The encounter will be played at the Cape Town Stadium (kickoff at 3:30pm).

The Amakhosi are at present topping the Absa Premiership standings with 21 points from seven games, while the Urban Warriors have 14 points from the same number of matches.

Maluleka played between 2009 and 2012 for Ajax Cape Town, joining Chiefs early this year. “I still have friends there,” he points out, “like Keagan Dolly, Granwald Scott and Sonwabile Colo.”

Amazingly, Maluleka hasn’t been back to Cape Town since leaving the club. “It’s strange, but it is true,” he comments. “And I am really looking forward to visit the Cape again.”
